How Does Bouncie Tracker Work?

  • After installing the app, open it and create an account.
  • Make sure to enter your car details such as VIN, current mileage, and model when prompted during the account creation.

  • Once the initial setup is complete, drive your vehicle for at least 10 minutes.
  • During this period, the tracker will collect your vehicle’s information and try to connect to it.

Amazon Alexa Integration

You can control the Bouncie GPS tracking device easily using your Alexa-enabled device. To integrate Amazon Alexa and your Bouncie device, you need:

  • An Amazon account
  • The Alexa app
  • The Bouncie app
  • The Bouncie adapter
  • A Bouncie account.

  • On your iPhone, launch the App Store app and search for the Spytec app.
  • Choose the Spytec app in the search result and tap the Get button.
  • Wait until the app is downloaded.

  • Go to the Boundaries tab and tap the Add icon to create a new boundary.

The Bouncie Insights help you with the information required to make a better decision while on the road. This feature will automatically summarize your trip plans and display other details on the screen. To access this feature, you need to configure the insights settings in the Bouncie mobile app.

Bouncie GPS Tracker Accident Detection

Accident Detection is one of the coolest features of the Bouncie GPS tracker. The internal sensors (installed in the tracker) and the Bouncie software monitor the activities of your vehicle. When the sensors and software find sudden changes in the performance of your vehicle, it will notify you about the accident. If you have added any contact details for an emergency, then the software will send an SMS to that particular contact about the accident.

How To Disable Bouncie

Usually, you can disable or turn off the tracker by removing or detaching it from your vehicle. To disable the Bouncie tracker, use the Bouncie application installed on your mobile phone.

  • Launch the Bouncie app installed on your mobile phone.
  • Select the vehicle on which you wish to disable Bouncie.
  • Tap Delete to remove the selected vehicle from the Bouncie list.
  • Now, remove the Bouncie device from your vehicle.

Bouncie GPS IMEI Not Recognized

While setting up the Bouncie GPS tracker, you’ll be asked to enter its IMEI number. You can find your GPS tracker's IMEI number on its label. Once you enter it, the application will try to detect the tracking device. In case the application fails to detect the device and the IMEI number is not recognized, then check whether you have entered the number correctly. If not, re-enter it. If you encounter this issue, even after entering the IMEI number correctly, contact our technical experts to resolve it.

Bouncie Tracker Not Updating

If your trip plan is not updated properly by the Bouncie tracker, then perform the following instructions to resolve it.

  • Sign into your Bouncie app.
  • If you encounter this issue for the first time after installing the tracker, take your vehicle for few more trips and then see if you are receiving the updates.
  • You will receive a notification if your Bouncie tracker is disconnected from the application. In this case, reconnect the tracker & app and then check if the Bouncie tracker is updating.

Frequently Asked Questions

If your trip plan is not updated properly by the Bouncie tracker, then perform the following instructions to resolve it.

  • If you wish to cancel your Bouncie subscription, then follow the below instructions.
  • Go to the Bouncie account and sign in.
  • Now, go to the Devices section.
  • In this section, you can find the devices that are using the Bouncie subscription.
  • Select the device for which you wish to cancel the subscription.
  • Click on the Cancel button.
  • Go to the Bouncie account login page from your mobile phone browser.
  • Enter your Bouncie account credentials.
