Why Is My Garmin Golf Watch Not Working?

If you find your Garmin Golf watch is not working, then try the simple troubleshooting instructions given below to fix it.

  • Initially, make sure that you have installed your Garmin Golf watch successfully.
  • Next, check whether the watch has enough battery life to function. To check it, try to turn on the watch by pressing its Power button. If the watch fails to turn on, then it might not be having enough charge to turn on. Charge the watch for a while, and then turn it on.
  • If you encounter this issue while connecting the watch to your phone, then first, check whether the Bluetooth feature is enabled on the phone and watch.
  • For smartphone: Tap on the Bluetooth icon available in the Quick access bar or go to the Settings screen and tap on the toggle icon beside the Bluetooth option.
  • For Garmin watch: To enable the Bluetooth option on your watch, locate the Menu button and hold it down until the Bluetooth option appears on the screen. Tap on the Bluetooth option to enable it.

After enabling the Bluetooth option on both devices, try to pair them. If the Garmin Golf watch is still not working, then check whether your phone meets the system requirements of the watch. If yes, then soft reset your watch to fix this issue.

  • To do so, hold down the Light/Power button of your watch for 30 seconds.
  • After holding the button for 30 seconds, release it.
  • Now, check if the Garmin Golf watch is working issue.
  • If not, restore the watch settings to default.
  • To do so, press and hold the Menu button on your watch.
  • Select Settings > System > Restore Defaults > Yes.
  • Once the settings are restored, check whether the Garmin Golf watch works.
